What a party!

Last night everyone who was anyone (haha) came round to my place for a good old flatwarming/birthday party. It was so much fun!!! We had SingStar in the lounge and Buzz in my bedroom and Melody turned up as my birthday fairy! So cute! I was so glad so many people could make it and everyone seemed to have a good night and meet lots of new people - nice to have all the people I love in the same room! (well almost all of them) I'm so lucky to have such a great bunch of friends and family!! I got some new Bose speakers- so we had good sounds, and my flatties took some of the lightbultbs out so we had "mood lighting". And I made the hugest batch of brownies!

Man it's all about us needing forgiveness for our sins so we get into heaven - or else we will go to hell - and even if you don't believe in hell - if there was a hell would you want to go there??? I think we think we're all good people but none of us can say we have never committed a sin - i.e. kept all the ten commandments - i know I've definetely lied from time to time at least, and blasphemed, even tho i try hard not to, sometimes it just slips out, and that is only two of the ten commandments, but on judgement day I will be guilty of sinning because I have broken at least 2 of the ten commandments, let alone the other 8 (lets not even start on that!), so if I'm guilty then I would go to hell. This sucks - even tho i'm a good person at heart, but then again if a murderer wasn't caught for ten years, and in that ten years had become a good person, when they eventually go to court, would the judge just let them off if they said "oh but I'm a good person now, please forgive me" - no - because then justice would not be done...so if God just let us off then he would not be a good judge. But he gave us an out by sending his son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for our sins. So say the judge said to the murderer "instead of going to jail you have to pay a $500,000 fine", and you're like "I have no money, i can't pay that", and some complete stranger comes along, sells everything he owns just to pay that fine for you and says "i did this because you're my mate and I love you" - how would you feel towards that person? I know I'd be totally grateful and blown away! So Jesus paying the price for our sins to allow us to have a clean slate on the day of judgement so we get to heaven and not hell is just like that! How awesome is that! We just need to grab this gift he's given us with both hands, repent and ask forgiveness of our sins and that's that, that's all you have to do. It's good to be assured this fact, that you're definetely forgiven and are definetely going to heaven, i like having that to look forward to, especially when life isn't going so great!
