Strange visitors in the night - Drunken half naked sleepwalkers?
(entertainment factor - "High")
I heard some strange sounds in the early hours of this morning of someone stumbling up the stairs, using the bathroom and then stumbling out and then i heard screaming coming from my flatmates room! Then a CRASH, and I called out "ah is everything ok in there?" and my flatmate called out "ah no, Joy can you come here?"
So... not knowing what i'd find, i chucked on my dressing gown (ok i wasn't wearing my most suitable pjamas), and popped across the hall and opened my flatmates door to see someone lying on the floor by her bed. My flattie was sitting up in bed going "um what do i do?!" So i switched on the light and there was a girl in her mid 20's wearing only a top and our bathmat (which thankfully covered the bits we didnt' want to see - i wonder how she organised that?!) coma'd out on the floor. We could tell she was breathing so we didn't need to dial 111, but my poor flattie was a bit shaken up having a random person trying to get in bed with her and then collapsing on the floor 1/2 naked!
We woke up our other flatmate who said she was a friend of hers and was crashing the night after being out on the town. So we went back into the room and the girl had actually got into my flatmates bed! So my other flatmate got her out of the bed after about 10 mins of coercing her to get out and threatening to pick her up and carry her out of the bed!! Then I heard her say "where are your pants? go downstairs and get them!" My poor flattie was so embarassed!
It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY
2 nights, 1 1/2 days, Auckland, Me, U2, Shopping.
Fab time was had by all! It was well worth the wait and anticipation.
Wow I'm not the only wuss when it comes to flying!

"Brittany Murphy Puts Her Flying Fears To Rest" - 25/11/2006
Brittany Murphy has conquered her fear of flying through praying and sleeping. The 29-year-old Sin City star was previously too terrified to travel by air but now puts her faith in God and sees plane journeys as a chance to escape from everyday distractions. "I've got over it," she said. "Now when I get on the plane I say a prayer until I know we are up safely. "I have a lot of faith and pray a lot. So I gave my trust to God and I ask him to carry the plane safely to the destination. "It helped when I realised that a plane was somewhere I could relax and sleep because no one could get in touch with me. So now I look at it like a great big bed in the sky. I associate it with a place of rest." (c) 2006 World Entertainment News Network

Bike crash
Had a bit of an accident on the way to work - car pulled out infront of me forcing me to slam on my breaks - squeezing the front break a bit too hard and flipping over the handlebars! oops - landed on my hands with bike ontop of me, jumped straight up but strained the muscles in my arms quite badly - nothing broken, but just on lots of pain killers to allow my arms to come right. So a bit unco - can't do much with my hands other than type really slowely! i think i might need someone to help me brush my teeth! Thankfully a good friend from Arise Church was walking down the street at the same time and came and helped me out and got me in a taxi to the hosptial - thanking God that she was there at the right time!
oh my cellphone screen got smashed, so can't recieve any text msgs! but can get calls - so call or email me :) or visit - i'm home doing ziltch - well just reading and watching dvds :)
Always wear a helmet - i'd say it would have saved my life - and write letters to the council asking for more cycle lanes - espec on willis st!! :)
